Apple may launch a new model, the 'iPhone 17e', in its lineup next month. This device is also expected to feature the latest A19 chipset.

This chip is currently found in the 17 series. Despite the RAM and storage configuration, its price could be around $599, or approximately ₹50,000.

According to a report by The Verge, Apple believes there is less competition in this segment. Google's Pixel 10a is not expected to see many changes, and Samsung is entirely focused on premium devices. Therefore, Apple wants to dedicate a powerful chipset-equipped iPhone to emerging markets like India.

MagSafe support and Apple's own modem chip

The 17e could be the first device from the company to use its in-house modem chip. Until now, the company relied on external suppliers for this component.

Additionally, it may also feature MagSafe charging support. This would be a version of the iPhone 16e project launched last year.
